If you’re the type that likes a central location, and enjoys heading out on your own to discover a region, then a week’s rental at Palazzo LaPlaca will be perfect. Staying in town — where there always seems to be something happening — is a great way to get to know a place. Sip a cappuccino at the bar in the piazza and people watch or explore our little side streets, restaurants, museum, and churches.
Three apartments are available for weekly rentals. Each apartment with private entrance, has rustic walls of stone, wooden and beamed ceilings, living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen with marble counters, one or two bedrooms, a full bathroom, free Internet access, and air conditioning.
Assisi: A beautiful 2-bedroom apartment overlooking Assisi boasts extraordinary views of the Spoleto Valley with Assisi and Spello in the distance. Bedrooms with double beds, living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and dining area makes this a comfortable experience for 4 people. The apartment’s balcony offers a sunny spot to sit and read.
Crispolto: Named for Bettona’s patron saint, this 2-bedroom apartment faces town. One bedroom has a double bed and the other twin beds. A living room, fully equipped kitchen, and dining area are suitable for 4 people.
Gufo: This one bedroom apartment with a spiral staircase leading to a sleeping loft that once was home to a snow-white barn owl (gufo) has beautiful views of the surrounding hills. A living room, fully equipped kitchen, and dining area make this most rustic apartment a truly Umbrian experience for 2 people.
Breakfast is not provided. Laundry machines available for a small fee. Rentals are usually from Saturday to Saturday but other times are possible if our schedule allows. We are not a B&B and a minimum stay of 7 nights is requested. Days may be added is space is available. Inflatable beds available, at an slight additional fee, if need be. Ask us.
