Bettona is located approximately 18 kilometers from both Perugia and Assisi.
By Car: From Rome’s Fiumicino Airport take the GRA (ring road) following the signs to Firenze exit at 10 and take the A1 north (toward Firenze); exit at Orte, make a right and head toward Terni. In 20 minutes you will see the signs for Perugia and you will enter onto the E45. Follow signs for Perugia and Deruta; exit at Ponte Nuovo (exit after Deruta Nord).Make a right, go over bridge and at bend in road, go left and follow signs to Torgiano and Bettona. At T, go right and Bettona will be in a few kilometers. Aproximately 2hrs 15 minutes.
From Florence take the A1 South toward Rome; pass Arezzo and exit at Bettolle/Val di Chiana; follow signs to Perugia then, once past Perugia, look for signs to Rome and take the E45 south 3 exits to Torgiano. Follow signs for Torgiano, then Bettona. Aproximately 2hrs.
By Train: From Rome take the train to either Foligno and take a cab from there or transfer to a connecting train to Assisi and take a cab from Assisi.
